I know what you're thinking, we are freakin' cat ladies, but we felt bad that Gus had no one to play with!!! He was already treating us like his mommies (he never had a nursing phase so he sucks on our fingers all the time) but we were also acting as his stand-in siblings (sorry but we will never be ideal play fight partners - it is painful and left us with many a wound). My sister Lauren had a friend whose cat recently had kittens who she was trying to find homes for. She showed us the last one left, a doe-eyed male Orange babe, and the deal was done. The best things come in pairs. Izzy is adorable, Gus has someone to play with that is more on his level, and we are a happy (nontraditional?) family.
